What Individual Educational Support Actually Looks Like

Beyond the label: a look at what a real session involves.

"Individual support" can sound abstract until you've seen it in practice. At its core, it means the plan is built around one specific child rather than adapted from a general curriculum.

A typical session opens gently, a few minutes of settling in before any real work begins. What gets focused on that day depends on how the child arrives: their mood, their energy, what happened earlier. The plan stays flexible enough to meet them there.

What stays constant across sessions is the attention to the individual: what motivates this child today, what felt hard yesterday, what small win is worth building on this week.
